I'm really watching closely for this HD600 coming up on Amazon. What would be a good price that one would pull the trigger on this (Below $270) ?. I pulled the trigger yesterday on a set of AKG 701's and was thinking about demoing the two against each other. I currently do not have a DAC/AMP combo. Would an E7/E9 combo be the best way to go at the beginning?

Can anyone proxy a HD600 for me and ship it to Canada? Please PM me and we can work out a deal. But first I still need to see what the Lighting Deal price is.
Parcel forwarding just seems expensive and I haven't set up one yet.
Thanks!

Honestly, $270 is a great price and I've yet to see them cheaper new. But you can often get them used on the forum for $225 or so, so it may be worth buying used if you're trying out. I think that the E9 is a great way to go. Honestly, I've never used it with the E7, but I use a line out from my ipod classic, mostly lossless files and it works really, really well. If you're just starting out, I wouldn't worry about the E7 unless your primary source is your laptop. If you're already using an ipod w/ high quality files, get a line out and see how it goes!

$260 for HD600
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004SY4H?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
I think the price is OK. Nothing like the triple fi deals.

Lol, funniest deal on Amazon with Sennheiser HD 600
I clicked 5 sec after deal went live, cuz I looked at TV for too long, and when I clicked add to cart, the deal was 100% full and I was able to join waitlist only

I have it in my cart right now and in 10 minutes need to complete the purchase.
Not sure if I should get it or not
Currently having the HD25-II's along with Denon D1100s in the stable
I wonder if they are worth the $260

After the amazing deals yesterday (which I missed...), I bet alot of people like me just automatically added to the cart. At $260, the price isn't that great so I immediately deleted it, and I bet alot of people will let it time out. I would have replaced my Audio-technica A-900 if the price was closer to $200.

Really not a super deal at that price. It's an ok price, but nothing spectacular.

I am releasing mine from the cart, if anybody wants to jump into it.
I was also thinking that price may end up being 200 which would have been awesome deal no doubt
After scoring the HD25-ii's for only 125, i am spoiled with bargains

dt 880 600 ohm at around $290 vs hd 600? That is if I get the deal.. Which seems unlikely since there were probably very few available..
