Amazon Gold Box currently has Shure SE210 for $90. There is an upcoming deal for "Denon Over-Ear". Going by the other two headphone deals (the Shure and Lady Gaga!), perhaps the D1100 would be in line? Maybe!

It doesn't work on the HD598, but I tried it on the HD650 and it took $158.19 off of the $499 retail price. You have to go into the amazon checkout, or complete all but the last step in their shopping cart to see the savings. If anyone is looking to get these, it's nearly $50 off amazon's price.

Do you know when the code expires? I'm in the market for a DAC/Amp combo for the HD650 and I'd rather space out my purchases and make my credit card bill less sad this month...

For those seeking a deal on the D7000, Amazon has one for 595.88 in like new condition.  The vendor Electronic Expo which is an authorized dealer by the way.

Seems to be either 7-31, or 8-31. I checked several sites, and the listed expiration dates vary. There is also another code "MRHEADPHONE" and "LS0735" that all result in the same discount.
 
One of them should work

what are you trying to buy? Some headphones are ineligible. SUMMER30 and MRHEADPHONE both still work on the hd650, but you have to login and get to the last page of the checkout @ expo, or login to amazon checkout to see the total.

A lot of people don't know about it, but J&R will bargain.  There's a lot of stuff they can bargain down and if you're at the store they will show you the lowest they can go on a certain deal.  When I bought a couple of televisions, surround sound and some other stuff for my apartment, I got them to bargain even beyond that but they needed a manager to approve it.
 
If you're shopping at J&R it's always worth making that phone call and trying to get a better deal out of them.

I dunno if this is old or not, but Redfli Electronics is having an AKG sale - up to 50% off. I just ordered K420s for 45 instead of 80 USD. A number of AKG products are on sale here: http://redfli.com/akg.html
Do note however most of these are portable/IEMs - you're not going to be getting the K701s for $150.
