The Deals Thread (CLOSED! See the last post for the link to the new thread)

Jaycar says they're just generic OEMs. Their OEM manufacturer is certainly Yoga. Brainwavz does the same thing by rebranding Yoga (Their HM3 and HM5 are both rebrands directly from Yoga.) We know that the Brainwavz HM5 sounds the same as the FA-003. Logically, the Jaycar headphones should sound exactly the same.

I'll wait for someone to confirm this. That's quite the price difference... :basshead:

I'll make sure and let everyone know when I get them... in a couple weeks. :)

Can the xb1000 be bought anywhere? They go for so much on here why?

Well, they go for around $200-$260 (currently $260 at AccesoryJack.com). It looks like Sony has already discontiued them, in the US at least, so they're becoming somewhat rare I guess.

$200-$260 new or used?

Assuming you meant me, that would be new. And AccessoryJack is a reputable dealer, I've ordered from them before.

On to headphone holders, I use the Sennheiser HH 10 holders clamped to my desk. Here is a rather good price on these:

Can't have enough of these so I ordered a couple more!

EDIT: The price was/is $10.69 each, in case it changes and my post no longer seems like a deal!
