Omg...I hope you are fine. I don’t want to put my ears and Headphones under any stress. When I saw the previous post I thought I missed a deal but with with your post I’m more inclined towards not getting it anymore. But is it due to faulty unit or is it universal phenomena for this device.

I believe it was just my unit with that effect. In the ES100 threads is nobody else mentioning this.

My intend was not to scare you off, but to make sure to test the unit and to make sure you can return it if you have the same issue.

Other than that the ES100 is a fine device and does everything well and sounds very good. It is just me that I never try something again I had an issue with.

My thought is this is more of an inventory clearance on the IFI Black Label since I ordered one and it still seems like they are in stock. Either that or their cart/inventory system sucks.

Definitely not universal. Listening to it right now here at gym. I’ve walked quite far from phone before and never even experienced anything strange.

Yeah have had my ES100 for over a year. Best purchase of 2018, one of my best audio purchases ever. ES100 receiving LDAC from my Note 9 plus my AKG N5005. Solid combo.

The actual deals are for those who can accept to always stand one generation late, once FOTM's faded out outstanding stock is a stinker everyone wants to get rid of ASAP before next model is out(HE560 gone from $1K to $250 over a year and a half lol)

I'm sure Elear for $250 next BF will be quite nice if you like tiny 40mm drivers + tiny headstage + very uncomfy headband ))
