Decent price ($96.79) on SoundMAGIC HP151's which get good reviews for a closed hp at this price. Been around $120 for ~9 months; will probably dip into $80's around Thxgvg though.

As much as I like soundMAGIC cans, it saddens me to see that they still haven’t redesigned that stupid swivel hinge. That hinge is fragile and breaks too easily IMO. And once it breaks, you’re SOL.

Yeah..thought the same thing but some reviews are saying the hinge has been fixed when they went from the 150 to the 151. That said, the pictures look the same. Probably depends on how they're used/stored/etc. Sounds like you had bad luck with the HP150?

Both my HP150 and HP200. I handled them with kid gloves, so they were not abused. Always stored in the original case, etc.

I was able to repair them by swapping the cups over to Superlux HP660 headbands. But it’s kind of a janky solution that would have been unnecessary if soundMAGIC had just fixed the problem a long time ago.

Thanks, that would be long shipment to the east coast.

We ship out of Blaine, WA as a few others have said. But you can fire us an e-mail anytime if you need quicker shipping to the East Coast. We are actually expanding to shipping out of 3 more places, 2 on the East Coast. That should start very soon!

Hopefully not in NJ. Tax is a killer on a TOTL headphone!

Sennheiser HD650 renewed for $244, down from a new price around $350, through Amazon:

Sennheiser HD660S renwewed for $390 down from around $500 new, through Amazon:

These are refurbished units, BTW, and come with a 30 day warranty. Burn-in is advised to make sure they're in good working order before that short return window closes.

EDIT: Oops. Looks like it's a 90 day warranty now.
