No. I wasn't at least. Of course those are enough, but more is always better.

Paradoxper I don't know if there IS much more than those headphones, after that you just buy an anechoic living-room extension to your house and $20k speaker rig.
 
I think I see your point though it could have focused on high-end DAC / Amp items and electronic / audio technology, looking at the .PDF / magazine type guide now...

Yea, some of us prefer ortho's to stax, just saying. There is always more. Unless you'd like to just "settle"

While the Orpheus is a classic and still damn expensive, it easily gets out performed by the 009 and 007.

Not to mention that every for each dollar you spend, you will require an hour's run-in time before performance is up to scratch

Wow, there's so much wrong with that article. They phrase it like it's still being made, cite Orpheus as the manufacturer (not the model), and so much more.

I think that what Paradoxper is trying to say (and what I said sometime earlier in the thread) is that the SR009 does edge out the Orpheus in terms of pure accuracy and detail, though the Orpheus is a much greater and more involving listen at 99.9% the same detail. I do disagree with the SR007 spiel, though.
