So a duck, a chicken, and the Pope walked into this bar.
.
I'm sure this is a good joke ... just don't have an ending.
~~~
And the duck said, "well what can expect from a papist?"
A bit of literature :wink: :
.
Quote from "Uncle Dynamite" (1948), by P.G. Wodehouse -
~~~
"He meant Brabazon-Plank, major. As opposed to my brother, who, being younger than me, is, of course, Brabazon-Plank, minor. I can understand your being confused," said Lord Ickenham with a commiserating glance at the officer, into whose face had crept the boiled look of one who finds the conversation becoming too abstruse. . . . "And what renders it all the more complex is that I myself am a mining engineer by profession. Anyone who wants to get straight on the Brabazon-Plank situation has got to keep steadily before him the fact that the minor is a major and the major a miner. I have known strong men to break down on realizing this. So you know my minor, the major, do you? Most interesting."

Have any of y'all done a direct replacement of an electro-mechanical relay with a solid state relay?
I'm looking at the IXYS LCC120, and instead of it having something like a 6V coil, its control input is rated at 10mA, with a 1.35V drop.
So, I'm thinking that a current limiting resistor will have to be added to the original 6V driving circuit, in order to swap-in a solid state relay.
Is that you experience? Thanks!

As long as the pulls and throws are adequate and the operating V is workable in the circuit it should be fine. It's basically just a remote switch after all.

I guess he didn’t care for the triangle guy that left the day before
