My buddy from high school and principal oboist of the Berlin Philharmonic has a Mozzer album out. I listened to it on my way home from my first Pfizer jab. Beautiful!

This time last year was the last time I ever heard his voice. He said he would like some tea and watch an episode of Kims Convenience. We both needed to rest our eyes for a few minutes first. Covid was causing severe eye pain. I opened my eyes about 5 minutes later to try and make the tea. We were both very weak...partially from having eaten almost nothing for several days. He did not open his.
He loved AC DC and had seen them live. I do not know when or where... or how many times. Music was his real passion. ..not the gear. He loved all types, from metal to folk.... Americana, prog rock, classical, country, jazz, blues, even new age. Rap was about the only thing he didn't care for but even with that there were a few songs he liked.
At the moment I am reliving the moments of that day. I am still traumatised and so very alone.

most folks are traumatized by what's happened the last few years, sane folks will never be the same. I personally think there is no going back, just a new normal that we will try to rationalize.

Tom was the only Head-Fier and Audio Facebooker I ever met. We had a great couple of pints at the famous Hope and Anchor in Islington. He gave me three DIY earbuds which I treasure. That was so nice of him.
