I have the Oriveti OH500 inbound soon. Had to buy direct as I couldn't find stock anywhere else. It was up to this and the SS U4. Every review kept ticking off the boxes for the OH500 so I went for it. I'm out all next week at a conference in FL so may miss the delivery. Will have to settle with some other gear in the meantime. Traveling light so only bringing the R3 and BGVP DMG and possibly the Periodic Mg.

So I wrote to Bob about the R2's and told him how I felt... He gave me the option to issue a full refund if I ship them back to him. However, my issue is that shipping back to the UK is fricking EXPENSIVE. :\ I think I'm just gonna put these up for sale on here and hope for the best...

I speak only for myself: I find the sound sig not exactly to my liking... Also the open back make it really hard to listen to in any other environment than in a quiet room, as sound bleeding in affects the soundstage... So considering I use my IEM's on the go, it's just not for me. I did try and muffle the open back with a foam layer, but all it does is reduce the soundstage and tame the bass. So instead of wasting time on these, I'd rather just move on and stick to my DM6 and NX7...
