The US is an awesome third world country (oligarchy), if you are rich that is... ...as for Canada, I have heard the country is getting worse, but Canada has been considered a first world country.

Many of them can put on a convincing act of being normal humans and some of them are actually normal but catch them off guard or when they’re not trying and they’re really scary. Oh dear, you completely missed the point that it was all purely in jest, one of my closest friends is French Canadian and he would laugh his a$$ off if I showed him my post. You missed the point that I was joking with/lightheartedly teasing the forum mod (castleofargh), to whom I was responding, because he’s French!

Concur, we all need to lighten up and not be so serious all the time. It can be quite confusing though sometimes when certain individuals are being rotten and super serious in one post and then jolly and full of fun in the next. Which by the way clearly shows that these said individuals are quite capable of being civil, polite, and even friendly if they choose to be.

There goes my dream of becoming a comedy writer for an American late night show. I already had to give up on ever having a chance to become a UFC champion after I got told earlier this year that a 48y old white belt in karate was not going to get signed by Dana White.

Not 100 % correct. Only the bottom 99 % of the US population. The richest 1 % of Americans would be worse off living under a "Canadian" system.
