Just ordered mine to replace my fiio M9. Can’t wait!
USB C out have good quality ? ThanksMine came in early YAY!
Some quick tips for those getting one soon!
USB C out to DAC/Headphone Amp (checked my Gryphon) works perfectly!
If you are a Qobuz User and get Error 400 go into settings and set clock/time it should then work fine for you.
Tidal is still MQA version, so as someone else said it will need an update.
Build quality is very good, sound is very good, I have a busy day and was not expecting this today but just initial thoughts I am very pleased! I will try to post some pics later!
Cheers!!
If it's like the Hiby R3, when you press and hold the Tidal button on the screen, it will switch to Qobuz; and vice versa. Then just touch the Qobuz button on screen to open it...And how to activate Qobuz on it?
I had no issue with it, and sounded very good to my ears!USB C out have good quality ? Thanks

I think since it uses HiBy OS, the update on Tidal client has to be enrolled to all supported HiBy's targeted devices. HiBy R3 II didn't get that update hence other HiBy OS devices didn't get that too. There was the attempt to notify HiBy in R3 II thread https://www.head-fi.org/threads/the...oved-sound-and-bluetooth.872288/post-17820175Tidal is still MQA version, so as someone else said it will need an update.

I never thought about the H2 in that way, but it’s an interesting comparison…was looking at Shanling H2 before but this one looks better in spec.
Yes, I paid the same and I like it a lot. Decent power and well built. My v3 arrived earlier today which considering I ordered it 7 days ago is fast delivery over Xmas/new year period to the UK. Easy to set up as the OS is same as my Hiby R3 ii so up and running in minutes, it’s a solid chunk in the hand definitely doesn‘t feel cheap or nasty in use and it can get LOUD with my Zero 2’s. Only cost £139 so i guess I could call it a bargain even though I have no genuine need for it other than Xmas whisky induced curiosity

Do you like the sound on tempotec more than on hiby?My v3 arrived earlier today which considering I ordered it 7 days ago is fast delivery over Xmas/new year period to the UK. In my early opinion I think it sounds cleaner than Hiby R3ii and I use a lower volume setting on the V3 to achieve same loudness as on Hiby (using 3.5mm output). The V3 has a slightly higher output power level than the Hiby (2vrms vs 1.9vrms).Do you like the sound on tempotec more than on hiby?
Also, does the v3 louder than the R3?
