Symphones Magnum upgrade for Grado SR325 and Alessandro MS2

Oh I thought that just meant it was worn but I stand corrected..either way I like the HD414 pads other than the color. It's too bad the flats are 35 and the gs1000i pads are 40 or 50. I would try all of them if it was the same price as the HD414

What other phones would these headphones sound like? Do they compete well with the top-tier Grado's?

I'm under the impression that all the different versions of the magnums sound differently based on what I've read here. I have the v2.5 and they sound different than what I've read about the v1 but haven't read too much about the current version.

What do people use to store these? I bought mine in the FS area and it didn't come with a case so wondering what people use in that situation.

You don't store them, you put them on your head

You can buy a Grado headphone carry case (just Google it) for travel and/or storage. I have one for my Alessandro's, works like a charm.

My v3.5's are in customs, I think I'll get them in a couple of days.

I'm not sure about those cases. I was hoping something like the wooden box Grado offerred a while ago but I'm looking at aluminum cases but they all seem to be pretty big.

I keep it on my stand if I'm using that but if I use my DT880 I want to keep it on the stand and I only have one stand.

Nice looking chromes. Never liked the chromes much, but I must say they look kind of awesome in those pics :)

Those are some nice looking Magnums there :p

That silver thing on the rods looks real nice. Is that part of the full magnums?

It's a shame that the chrome is easily prone to scratches and (moreso) fingerprints.
