Is it worth getting a Magnum if I already have a RS1i  or if I do get a Magnum, is it worth keeping the RS1i?

I don't think people should be so disappointed with this news.  I've heard the ver. 3.5 (in wooden cups) and it is a very good sounding driver.  In fact, I don't really know where one could keep improving the sound beyond this point.  Also, once Rhydon has reached his "happy point" with the sound, there's essentially no need to mess with the formula.  When something gets so good, future releases sort of just turn to hype in order to make the sale.  I can understand his logic.

As for the V2 upgrade- I'm afraid the aluminum chambers on that model will not accommodate the new V4 drivers. We could do a refit for you- replace just the chambers and drivers- that would be $270 plus shipping. I should note that our Gimbals have improved drastically since the V2 and are now much more durable.
