I extract the .dsf from the SACD using this method: https://audiophilestyle.com/forums/topic/28569-sacd-ripping-using-an-oppo-or-pioneer-yes-its-true/
dsd may sound quieter, not as loud as flac, this is the case with me, I only convert diff and wav to dsf.Interesting. Has anyone actually noticed any difference between dsf rip from a SACD and flac rip from a CD? Specific impression on some tracks from Wish You Were Here can help. IEM and cable used with the ZX300 matters too.

different file format. What is the difference between dsd, dff, dsf and flac?
Definitely, bro.. Even though you will start to notice big difference in sound quality after 10-20 hours, it's good that you burn in till full 200 hours as recommended in brochure (see pic).. I have completed burn in for 4.4mm balanced port (on MDR-1AM2) & trying to do the same for 3.5mm unbalanced port as well (on XBA-N1AP).. Now almost reach 50 hours .. Good luck...I just ordered the ZX300 along with the flip case and a balanced cable for the MDR-1A off Accessoryjack, so I'm real excited to recive it soon. Do you guys recommend leaving it to burn in for a little while before I start using it? If so, how long?
Ah I see, thanks for the reply! Normally I would keep it burning constantly until the 200 hours are up, but that would mean I would have to wait 16 days (200 for each port) to use it and since my patience isn't that long I'll probably just start using it right out of the box, and leave it running whenever it's not in use. That way I'll be able to enjoy and burn it in at the same time haha. I know it says that burn in only occurs on higher volumes, but how high exactly? On my A45 I usually have it set around 25-35 so if that's not high enough I guess I won't be able to actually burn it while listening.Definitely, bro.. Don't over think it. Just listen to it. I highly doubt you will be able to even discern a difference. You could listen when you want and burn in when not listening.Ah I see, thanks for the reply! I have the DSOTM sacd from 2003, is there a new one coming out?I bought the new SACD release of Wish You Were Here and ripped it using my Blu-ray DVD player and it sounds amazing on all my players.
They are rereleasing the SACD of Dark Side of the Moon this year too. I can't wait to get that.
From what I had read it's the same one, they are doing a new run just like they did for Wish Your Were Here.I have the DSOTM sacd from 2003, is there a new one coming out?
