Anyone know any mac apps that will allow me to convert cover art so they're compatible with zx300? If I remember correctly they need to be progressive jpgs?

I’ve been using this for about a month now. Mass resizing/conversion of jpgs, mass retagging, etc. Lots of functionality. Excellent. $20.

I think I'm going to give Metadatics a try. I have a 31000 song library, so the bulk editing will come in handy. Think I'll just test it on a sample first though or do it in chunks.

Just received a new ZX300. I am totally stunned by what this does compared to my 1A. I thought the void below the main screen will be an issue but it’s not. Has a nice weight to it. The silver bezel makes it look pop out to all my other walkmans that are black.
Sound is close to 1A.
Bought a 2nd EX600 as it out performs my Z5. I feel dynamic is better than balanced armature which lacks depth. But that’s me.
Will test the USB dac function as that’s the main reason why I bought it.

Nice! Which Plussound cable is it? How do you like it compared to the stock cable? I just got Plussound to reterminate the stock cable from the EX1000 with a 4.4mm right angle plug and it’s amazing!

What method of album art tagging does everyone use? Embedded or folder file?
I have been using embedded as I sometimes realise that I only like a couple of tracks from an album and to save space will move them to a 'mixed folder' and delete the album folder but want to retain their original art.

Same as superuser1 - embedded with cover.jpg in the same folder. Found that the ZX300 requires embedded artwork to display properly. Still, this combination seems to work with all of the daps I've tried it with so far.

Tell us more What's the main differences you hear between the ZX300 and 1A? I've been pretty happy with the ZX300. So far I've read:

Zx300 camparied with the 1A
> warmer
> 90%
> less microdynamics
> less power (only if you have inefficient headphones)

Does that jive with your experience?

Well I think I just found a way to use the ZX300 DAC mode for watching video, Youtube,... (not recommended for gaming thou)
I use my Laptop as my main sever and my ZX300A as my DAC, everyone know there a 0.5 - 0.7 second delay when using the DAC mode, and it's irritating especially for watching video. Till recent, I bought a HDMI - HDMI cable to output from my Laptop to my LG TV, and well well, it has a nearly 0,5 sec screen delay also!

=> So, I tried to output the audio through the zx300 while the screen on the LG TV, and WOALA, they match quite perfectly nice!!!

Now I can enjoy watching Youtube and Movies from my TV while using the ZX300A as the audio output, sounded great!

p/s: I'm not sure this will work for everyone else, but it does for me, so... Lucky me I guess =]]]]]
p/s2: If anyone ask for my setup, I'm using a Asus ROG G501JW, and my TV is a LG Smart TV. Connect those with a Toshiba HDMI - HDMI cable. And of course the zx300 in DAC mode with the stock Walkmanport - USB Type B Cable.

FYI, Amazon for Prime Day has the Sandisk 400GB micro SD card for $140.

I got one from Joybuy for around £278 think I paid some vat can’t remember how much but was a lot cheaper than the £460 cheapest price for a uk one at the time and comes without a volume cap. I only have apple so can’t unlock that. Also black is nicer imo. Plus using 400gb card so memory not an issue. I think the tax issue is luck of the draw.
