I thought the US version came with the EX600 cable (instead of the EX1000 cable & 2ft cable in the international version)?

Mine only came with one ex600 cable, and was new. So yes, try to not buy the US version, un less it's a really good deal

The Chinese market version comes with two cables, one 1.2m and one 0.6m long (7N purity OFC copper).These cables are of higher quality than the US market cables, slightly thicker too.

A friend of mine got both short and long ex600 cables, from a local US store.

Hey guys, I received my brand new EX1000 today, havent’t yet unboxed it. So excited

Anyways, I also bought one additional RK-EX1000SP cable (the shorter 0.6m version of the original EX1000 cable) in order to transform it into a balanced cable. For this purpose I also bought one Oyaide 4 pole 2.5mm TRRS plug and left both the plug and the cable at a local cable workshop in order for them to reterminate it for me.

Can anyone confirm whether the original short cable comes with 4 strands (2 per channel)?

I thought how lucky I was, I was in Bic camera yesterday, and they had the ex1000 at 38000 yen, as well as tax free and a extra 7% discount, was lead to the counter to pay for it, check for stock, they were no stock available. How unlucky.

On the other hand had my third and my last EX1000 cables re-terminated, this time 3.5mm 4 pole for my ZX2.
