the site states they have the ex1000 connectors, but folks have said in the past that other suppliers also said they had the connector, but it didn't quite fit, threads were slightly different. That's why I'm wondering if anyone actually has a null audio cable on their ex1000

That's way too expensive for an adapter. For 120 with a 4.4mm balanced connector I can order the whole cable from null audio, just not sure how much risk I want to take. I don't have any other need for an iem cable other than for the ex1000, I don't plan on buying any other iems any time soon either. So just a ex1000 full cable is all I need. If those adapters were say $60,which is way more reasonable, I would get them.

I would like to point out, they should work with the ex600 and ex1000, the ex800 is slightly different, and will not fit, those ek connectors are made in china, even the link you provided are over charging people.

Well, that's the cheapest aftermarket balanced cable for the ex1000 I can find. Even from members here who make cables.

Just reterminated your existing cable.

I was consid3ring buying the actual ex1000 cable, it's around 70 bucks, and reterminating with a 4.4 pentaconn. But, the null audio cable appears to be a quality product. After buying a a 4.4 connector and some things I may as well just buy the null audio one. The cable I have now is the ex600 cable that's much thinner and I don't feel like dealing with modding it. Wait, i cant remembwr which cable it is, its the thin one that comes with the us version of the ex1000, dont have it near me, but think its thay ex600 cable. Its a fine enough cable it's just so dang thin I'm surprised I havnt snapped it yet as many time as I've caught it on things. Anyway, hey, still enjoying the living hell out of the ex1000, it's just an amazing piece, it really never ceases to amaze me how good it is.

Check out Amazon, both US and Japan for the price of the cable, I reterminated 2 ex1000 cables, but left the ex600 cable untouched, as I can't confirm if it can be done, another point is the ex1000 cable is cheaper than the ex600 cable.

Just to let you know, even the ex600 iEM is much more expensive than the ex1000.

Ok, I snagged an actual ex1000 cable from.ebay for 50 bucks with the 20% off coupon today (PSPRING20). Can anyone help me with reterminating this to a pentaconn 4.4mm? Just need tips on how to do such, I've never done recabling besides smc connectors.
