Well, many "honourable" people (going by post count) spam EDM music, Anime pictures and recommend headphones they've never heard before. A title means nothing around here.

It's a nice debut post though which reads to me like:

''I'm happy with my headphones yet I've been on headfi longer than nearly all of you''

In fact that's what came to my mind too... LOL

I had done my share of lurking around HF prior to joining... i think registering doesn't really matter as much as googling up this site in the first place! My wallet had long suffered prior to me joining!

One of the famous store in Singapore now have a pre-order offer at S$1,299 with a free UE900 or UE9000 of your choice.
Considering that a brand new UE900 with warranty can fetch about S$400 in second-hand market, quite a worthy gamble

No way! These have been sold new with an official Logitech 35% discount just recently. So that's 259,35 $ new. I expect many similar price drops in the near future because of quality control issues.

I forgot to mentioned that the S$ refers to Singapore $, not US$.
Over here, the RRP is still S$599, but shops are selling them for less than S$500.

As of last week, Shure had provided no dealers anywhere with real information beyond vague estimates. So, as the dealers themselves don't know anything, I would recommend not ordering.

At the very least, make sure you can get your money back if you decide not to buy (patricularly when these are delayed and delayed).

I very much doubt we will see these before the fall. That's not a criticism of Shure, just a reading of their silence to dealers.
