Yes, that's really messed up. Also why I don't gift unless it's someone in my inner circle.
@coolcat Thanks bro, I've read nothing but great things about it. Just worried it won't have enough bass for me. After I sell my K10, that might be next.
Very educative comment.
Don't bother posting if you're too lazy to write an actual answer. Your 3000+ posts don't make respect and explanations optional...
And by the way, bass can be changed on the Angie, with better results than I could ever obtain by playing with the bassports of the ASG2.5. Partly because the dials are more precise and do no rely on air intake since the Angies are entirely BA-based.
Regarding build quality, although I really appreciate Aurisonics and only have good comments about their after sale performance, I got connection issues twice with my ASG, once with ASG1 and once with ASG2 (= 2 shipments to the US and back at my charge), si I'm a bit skeptical about their recessed 2-pin connectors design. Especially because I'm a careful person who always transports IEMs in rigid cases. Strangely enough, although it is said to be more fragile, I never got a single issue with IEMs having MMCX connectors...
ASG2.5 were a nice step-up regarding shell quality though, but I find the mids less gorgeous than on the previous iterations, and the Angies are a nice change.
basically liking real bass like bass at a live show, night club or studio which all use a real woofer that moves air and causes vibrations, waves of bass compared to a driver that was at first invented to recreate voice for people who had hearing issues. Obvious real is real, not all about being unnaturally perfect. Are you saying the Angie has more quantity or better quality bass?
I can see a debate about quality but none for quantity. Even the SE846 has more bass quantity then the Angie.
I had MMCX issues with iems before and admittedly one of them was an Aurisonic.
Ultra 2013 I was there !Agree with Jmills. If you like the 2.5s you like bass from a live show.

"Two ZV28s offer response extended to 21 Hz (+-3 dB, 1m, ground plane). ZV28s were independently measured at
Ultra Music Fest 2013
to achieve flat frequency response to 21Hz (-3 dB) at audience distance. A sub system of only sixteen ZV28 Subs and eight Z5/D Bass Horns s was used to create a legendary gig of extreme levels for close to 10,000 screaming fans. SPL meters showed levels of over 135 dB in the middle of the audience area."
I was there that year. This was the loudest system I have ever heard. Your insides shook, I could barely talk, the air was moving so much I couldnt light a bic lighter.
The 2.5s are the closest IEM's to that level of bass.
well i owned the asg2.5 and to be honest i miss it, it had this amazing sound sig like a 3d effect, and i was fine with the highs, and bass was simply amazing
i sold it to buy the next flagship that will come out from Fender, I hope it will be soon
