We all hear things differently. I say do not worry. I used my Traillii almost exclusively on my n6ii r01 and I loved every moment of it. I did not hear it as bright in the treble. But I also do not have the ti version. This may make a slight difference in SS.

There's no difference between the electronics of the TI version of the N6ii and the regular one, it's the titanium case, with the R01 included.

Yeah I used it pretty much constantly for over a month, the R01 to me is a pretty bright sound card, that hasn’t really changed at all with burn in

It’s the latter. It isn’t necessarily an emphasis, but there’s a bigness and forwardness to the upper-half that leaves its sound more vibrant than warm or subdued.

Were you able to try the SP2000T with the Traillii? I’m wondering if the Traillii would benefit from a warmer source.

Sorry, I’m afraid that the SP2000T was to a large extent made possible by the sale of the Traillii. Without having tried it though, I assume the pairing would be spectacular because I find the SP2000T to be a bit of a direct upgrade on the PAW6000, and that already worked wonders with the Traillii

My impressions of it are similar. Works really well with the A12t and A18S which I find on the darker end of the spectrum, while the SP2000T is godmode with brighter stuff like the A18t and Aurum

Oh man that’s spectacular… my iPhone’s camera really can’t capture the abalone properly unless the lighting is drop dead perfect. Will try a safer location during the day tomorrow
