I would like to see the photo stay... you won't be able to describe esthestics better in words than with a photo, me thinks. :) Maybe more of a close-up photo.
Oh the photos will definitely keep coming, I quite like having a visual element in the thread - they’ll just be attached as separate images so they’re more visible too :)

Thank you everyone for the positive feedback, I’ll edit the placement of some of the elements and add a few others, and come back with a slightly more final version today!

On the bright side, seems Centurion conX compatible with Elysian X :beerchug:
ConX but costs twice as much as what I’d pay for it :D I can get an Aeneid and an Iliad for the price of a single centurion

Thankfully I don't place anywhere near as much value on cables as I do other parts of the chain and am therefore not even remotely compelled to spend this type of money on them. As far as I'm concerned the likes of Effect Audio and Eletech are little more than luxury bling merchants for a small minority of the IEM community, at least with their top-tier products.

As prices of iems and cables go higher I wonder will they meet the same phenomenon as smartphones by likes of Apple and Samsung when a company like Xiaomi (or oneplus maybe) undercut thier prices in half and less while offering basically much of the same product quality wise.

You're paying aesthetics first.

For me at least, 4 wire 24 AWG Litz and 8 wire 26 AWG Litz are too thicc for me. As long as they keep up those kind of specs, my wallet is safe.

Cable prices are absurd and not justifiable over $1k US imho. I do understand the pride of ownership though.
