That’s really awesome of UM.

I wonder if the Attila is basically the 60s 4 wire with upgraded hardware with a different “tuning”.

It is not the 60s - I asked UM and they said so iirc.

I think it’s also Cardas… I guess? PW have been pretty secretive about the wire they use in their latest releases so I couldn’t say really.

Cardas seems to be the most obvious choice. I still gotta try the 60s 4 wire and the 50s one day.

Hardware is way way nicer than what they used back in the day - I really like it. Somewhat curious about the new Metropolis lineup but it’s way too expensive imo

Demoing the FS now and tried swapping the Attila for the stock cable on the traillii...I think I prefer Attila on the bird.

It's a bit stiff and heavy, but the sound is

These comments make me want to get an Aeneid with FS so that I can delegate Attila to Traillii. The microphonics of Traillii’s stock cable is a problem to me.

Can’t comment on Attila with Trailli, but the Aeneid just works so well with the Mason that I’d 100% recommend it. Then justify another IEM because you can’t leave the Attila hanging

Well hello gentlefolks! I hae been on hiatus but i have recently been browsing around after picking up a new dx300 dap. Wanted to see what the market was looking like in terms of IEMs and if anything noteworthy has come along to top the Sultan for the total mix of things i look for.

What do we have going on these days? Any new top contenders to the Thummim & Sultan in hardshell? I've read a bit about Traillia but it's plastic. Can't do it. Any other goodies worth considering?

@Liberatus nice to have you back! The Balmung was just released, but it's a little too emotional and musical for me. U18S - as you know I'm a massive fan, and lastly the Mason FuSang that I just reviewed
