Hmm so many more than I thought XD

this is in my opinion

Westone 3 > Sennheiser IE 8 > UE Triple Fi 10 > B&O A8 > Etymotic ER-4S > Jays q-Jays >  UE Super Fi 5 Studio  > New Apple in-ears > UE Super Fi 3 Studio > Apple earbuds > Bose triport in-ears

Can a statistician in this forum turn all these data into a comprehensive ranking?
That would be really cool.

The subjectivity (ie, variation in the comparisons' depth or inclusiveness) varies a great deal, making a statistical "condensation" unlikely to be authoritative, but I'll put the ranks into a text file (the anecdotes are not useful as measurable units, and not as relevant since most here appear to be of a clarifying nature) that I might or might not make sense of at some point in the future... Getting the comparative nature of these listings into numeric form, or even a detailed list, may prove a unique challenge (but don't hold your breath...)

B&O A8, Klipsch S2/SCL2, CX300 / A few EX's can't remember the models

Really want to hear the Ultimate Ears Super.Fi 5 Pro, and the Etymotics ER-4S

ER4S > ER4P > IE8 > FutureSonics Atrio (new MG7 driver edition) > Westone 2 > HF5 > IE7 > SE530 > RE0 > Triple.Fi 10 > MC5 > Klipsch Custom 3 > everything else I tried.... too many to list. Absolute worst iem that I've tried (which should have been good based on msrp & branding) was the Denon AH-C751. Utterly painful in the treble region & completely overblown bass.

If you've heard the SF5 EB, it's like that without the +8dB in bass.

Unlike the TF 10, they're not as genre friendly, but they really sine with live rock recordings. Like TF10, it has a warm sound signature, but it isn't as sparkley as TF10, SF5 Pro focuses more on smoothness and brings a lively grove to most music.

SF5 Pro is also more mid focused, it gives a slight coloration to the mids that gives it a very unique sound signature that's very enjoyable on live recordings a mid listening level. However, they lack the typical treble boost in most high end IEMs, so it's hard to imagine them doing well in the current market.

For reference, headfonia compared SF5 pro as the less refined UE 5 pro, out of my gear, I say they sound the most like RE262, but the whole spectrum is shifted back to give a more realistic tonal sound.

Turbines > CX300

My experience with IEM's is limited, since the turbines are my first pair of decent headphones which I really enjoy.
