Stuff at the lower tiers are still really great IEMs; just not as good, or as well-liked as those above.

Edit: IEMs I've bolded are those that I own. The others were auditioned over varying lengths of time.

This is more like "personal preference" rather the true ranking of them. I can't even believe you could rank SE5 in tier 2....
Noble K10 should be in Tier 2 instead

It is his personal preference just like you have one, we all have personal preferences gearO! Not to mention things like ones own hearing and capacity to what we hear. It's all subjective to a point but we are all entitled to what we think they rank for us

Yes, you're right. It is a list based on my subjective likes/preferences. In fact, the list was prefaced with such a disclaimer.

In any case, your choice to promote and demote the SE5 and the K10 respectively, is in itself, a subjective decision. Btw, how do you determine a true ranking? Whose criteria do you use?

Nevertheless, I was actually impressed with the SE5-Way Ultimate. However, I felt it lacking a little in emotion and musicality. The latter aspects are what I actually rank as high priorities when auditioning new IEMs.

Hello folks!

What IEM's would you recommend in the 50-150€ range? ATM I have Superlux HD-381F and I love the sound. I also have had the Soundmagic E10S that I sold because I prefered the sound of the HD-381F.

I do like solid tight bass - but I am not a basshead by a long shot. One thing I do value very much is solid build quality and how the product feels in hands, so thick and solid cables are not an problem. This is the reason I am looking in to new IEM's - the HD-381F are very flimsy feeling and do not isolate at all.

Sorry if this is the wrong thread for this but I couldn't find a better one. :)

Nope, what i mean was if you put them in order  The top of yours must be Noble k10 and this is the best?
JH13 Freqphase is much better than Pro (original ver),
