Litz braid, it's still just as flexible as the stock cable. The Grado stock cable is absolutely wonderful, it's just really not the best looking cable you can get. The most flexible cable I've ever used was the one on my K601, it was all floppy and rubbery and it would even knot up when I wasn't looking!

Excellent, excellent work, but the photography contributes hugely. I think he should have made it slightly more natural and far less yellow, but shooting it that way just gives it that added "oomph" and generates all the shock and awe :)

Do I have a problem if I find myself putting the pads back in the box when I'm not wearing them just to get the fresh "Grado" smell back in them for the last two years?

I read somewhere that the foam in the grado box degrades into small particles, and grado recommends to remove them from he box to avoid getting the driver dirty. but i think its just for too old boxes
