Note:
I made this one for my wife, she need shorter headband than stock Grado has,
so, I replace headband with more conventional (clamp design) from other cheap-cans...
(sorry, I can't remember what brand/type it is...)
...and ofcourse Senn HD414 flat-pad & Canare cables/connector

That's absolutely beautiful, you need to stop being so modest!

If you ever decide to make more of these for other people please let me know..

edit: i know.. second post.. i've been lurking and finally registered the other day. anyway, i'm not new to quality cans, but i've ordered a new set of grados (only grados i have now are the iGrado ones) and plan on making something different. what i DON'T know much about are what types of wood are good for phone-making (as far as sq goes..). any suggestions? i have access to a great shop so i'll be making a DIY writeup and posting here (might be a while). i guess what i'm after is what sizes work well and what is just too much? should i just use the eyeballometer?

didn't mean to threadjack.. i DO really know better.. it just seems like there's a big group of you here that know what i'm asking for

thanks in advance!

I wish I would've kept those cups for my HF-1s. I never listened to the 125s, so it made sense to sell them, but those cups were my favorites... I haven't turned a pair that comes close since.
