JoeDoe Have you tried reversing something that had been glued with it?

That's my main reason for using hot glue at all - ease of reversing the bond.

I'll have to give the elmer's a try. Thanks for sharing.

I want to build my first mod for my Sr80i. I have a nice piece of sapelli wood for cups and I want to make it look like RS1 so can anybody support me with their measures or give me the CAD file.Thanks in advance.

Newby question - how do you get the old headband off and the new ones on? 


If you hold the end of the metal between the old headband
Where it enters the rod block (by hand or with a pair of needle nose pliers wrapped with tape)
Gently but firmly rotate the rod block til you hear a crack, that's the glue breaking
It will slide right out and the old band will slide off slide the new one on and use a little
Super glue to secure the rod block works like a charm
