@rocketron
I did some research, it's not the PX-100 but the PX-100 II. The PX-100 kind of sucks; the PX-100 II is a completely different animal. Question is what will be the gain soundwise if you put it in a Grado kind of enclosure. There will be differences for sure. I only read at a forum that it's so great, but not what specifically changes.
I would like to give it a try, but do not want to spend much on it, may be €20. Might do the milling of the wood myself (or buy it as a 3d printed part that I once saw at Aliexpress but not any longer) and buy the other parts through our Chinese friends (as well). But I would prefer to see some measurements first. I read that a guy couldn't hear any difference between his Grado 325 (can't remember what letter followed) and the SennGrados.

About your remark about the 3D printed cups, you can find those files at the internet; but the shape is so easy to draw, it will cost me no more then 1 - 5 minutes to make such drawing. So if you want a file and you have something specific to add you can send me a sketch and I can make you a drawing too. And if you think that wood is especially needed for the sound (not that I believe this is true), remember that you can have it printed in mostly wood fiber as well.

Hi there.
Yeah I can’t remember which one was meant to be the better one.
From memory they changed the voice coil from copper to Ali I think.
When I’m home again I shall look for the PX100 and the SennsGrado sure I can find them 👍

@Lovegasoline

"Are you referencing the individual part with which to make set of cables (wires, connectors, plugs, etc.) or are there complete plug and play cable options available - reasonably priced - in either the single cable or dual cable/Y connector format?" - No, just buy the complete cable, but you have to make a decision first if you want to use the headphones balanced or not and what connector(s) are to your liking. And of course what female connector is at your equipment. Btw, many amps sound better balanced if they offer both balanced and unbalanced..

I'm looking for a 3.5mm plug for these.
I've never had any balanced equipment.

About the "detachable cable mods utilizing 3.5mm female connectors failing due to the connectors wearing out", nothing lasts forever, but no that's not an issue if you have the right connectors. I wrote about it somewhere here too (nevertheless there are better connector types nowadays). I bought mine at a local store for €1 each, but I forgot what company these produce. You need a tight fit, so ask for several of these connectors and choose the tightest fit. But like I said, I wrote about it at this forum somewhere.
Cables like these are fine and you have them with whatever connectors, color and length; some are cheaper than others for the same product, up to you how much time you want to lose finding the lowest price. Link: https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/1005..._main.231.212b79d2CsMLVH&gatewayAdapt=glo2nld

The problem is there's no way to handle these parts beforehand (on internet purchases) ... so you get what you get when the package arrives.

Amsterdam, your link leads here (screenshot below). It states the parts are for KOSS (not sure if they're also compatible with Grade) and the image shows headband, rod blocks, mesh, gimbals, etc. ... however there's no way to choose that 'package' ... the 8 small thumbnails at the bottom are for different items, like for ex. cablers and ear cushions.
I desperately need affordable rod blocks as both pairs (SR60 & SR80) have chewed up areas where the metal headband inserts.
I did a search of the website for Grade rod blocks and no matches.
???

The second link is likewise a little confusing...

I guess problems with the links have to do with the Dutch Aliexpress version that I use. When I click that second link I get: "Upgrade Premium Metalen Hoofdband Voor Grado SR60 SR80 E SR225 M1 Gs/Ps Hoofdtelefoon". So this is exactly what you asked for and it's the same stuff as for the Koss. It's not always easy to find what you need at those Chinese websites, but the same goes for Amazon; there is much more there then it seems at first glance, but you need the right keyword(s).
Btw, you can return the product for free if you don't like it.
You should be able to buy several cables with a 3.5mm jack at low cost.
