People still doing the MS1000/2000 mods by chance?

So I'm firing up @DavidA s Nhoord Orignal Build, and I must say I really like it! It scales nicely with my hm901->Pb2 rig, I like the strongly defined sound stage, I wish it resolved a little better, the Super Lux HD 668B actually does a better job with subtle details but it's tone is a little harsh and it's sound stage isn't the most resolved, that and is has little to no tactility, where as the Nhoord has a very nice tone, and good tactility, listening through "So What" and the tone on the horns is wonderful! The HD 668B is too dry, and makes them sound very harsh and metallic, compared to the very natural tone and attack on the Nhoord, still though to be able to compare a $50 to a more expensive custom built one speaks wonders for Chi-Fi!

i did one recently, got an MS1 cheap off the ebay, 3d printed the spacer, they sound good, soundstage is big and airy

edit. Atm i test the MF-200 earpads with the Grado.

Nice pics of the MS1, though, has any one had an issue with the EarZonk G Pads being un even? My pair are well one' a tad thicker on the bottom, the other's a bit thicker on the top. The headband assembly is also a little uneven, which I imagine was to counter act the pads, but has any one else gotten an uneven pair of EZ GPads

the earzonk's aren't as sturdy as the grados but i had a set laying around
so the price was right

Grado SR80e build complete!  Rosewood cups, aluminum gimbals, leather headband from Rholupat.  They provide great customer service and everything got to me in about 2 weeks which was faster than i expected.
