Certainly. I will definitely report back after I get them and have a chance to listen to them. The first report will be very brief, but I'll write up something a bit more detailed after 3-5 nights of burn in.

I may just send the company an email and ask or do a visual inspection. I think I read a post earlier that these were being manufactured differently. We shall see. :)

I just placed an order for igrado's, the black sheep of the grado family.

I've read about the igrado mods, which involves a quarter mod and/or removing the internal foam cover:

However, I've also read that grado has changed the design of the igrado, so that the foam cover is no longer used. Can anyone verify?

SR60(i) driver inside the iGrado, same mods apply as to both...all but changing the cup/pad for the larger versions as the headband is restrictive.

Hope this helps!

Btw newer versions have a removeable screen forward of the driver, falls off but does stop dust getting into the driver housing if you do the 1/4 mod to the std pads.

The new iGrados are supposedly impossible to get open for mods. I almost bought a pair until I heard that.
(I know that's fairly irrelevant, but it might be useful for some).
