Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

But doesn't the BTS mean that you have to keep on attaching and detaching your IEM's 2-pin to it every time you want to use it? Or dedicate one IEM to its use?

In my view the Creative Tech e5 is a better solution though it is a bit bulky.

Here is another photo that perhaps better illustrates how the BTS is laid out.

That looks better. So for the photo on the right, I can just plug in any 3.5mm jack from any headphone?

It a shorter version of the current standard Noble cable, quad braid, spc, Kevlar core, & has a pull strength of over 150lbs.....

thank you very much for your prompt responses!  i'm not too familiar with the cable Noble currently provides.  but in all honesty, if you guys provide it, its probably pretty good.  being SPC, i'm assuming it has a slightly bright character?  (note i am cable agnostic and have no idea what i'm talking about.. haha)

I have to imagine extensive market research demonstrates a demand for. Kudos for carving out white space.

The back story on the BTS:

Several months ago, Rico Suave called me up, asked if I could help him, help out a friend of his.   His friend had a ski helmet with built in head phones.   The trouble was, the cables were too long, and he wanted the new cable to be shorter, have remote control ability, and have a mic.

Rico and I started to plan out a sollution, and we came to the conclussion that the best option for the challenge was blue tooth.  Once the project was finished....   I built me a set for myself, but connected the blue tooth dongle to a set of Noble IEMs.

I really was impressed with the amount of freedom that the BTS gave me, as Brannan and I communicate via skype pretty much daily. When I use the BTS, I can walk around the house, leaveing the computer behind and multi task at a much higher level than I ever could before.

I spoke to Brannan about it, (a gym rat) and he wanted a BTS to use while at the gym.....

and the gears began turnning.   We soon came to the conclussion that other folks would want a product that would offer this type of freedom as well.   So we contacted our cable supplier in order to customize a cable for the BTS, and the rest is history.

I have been waiting for a product like the BTS to drop for, oh, I don't know.... A decade or so? I probably couldn't have put it into words very eloquently, and I certainly would not have been able to draw up technical specs. But the concept is something I have dreamed about since forever ago.

And now Noble has the technical advancements available to really do it right. AptX sounds excellent in my experience, and the BTS has a 1 ohm (or is it lower? I forgot already) output impedance. Looks perfect to me!
