So would the SE-5 be your first favorite followed by the SA-43 taking second place in your list of favorite customs? Now the SE 5 ways are intriguing me. Sparkle and extension sounds good without fatigue.

Anaxilus nailed it, the Sony peaks in the lower treble and has roll off after that to my ears.  The SE 5-way has extended treble that is airy, but it doesn't sound bright like the EX1000, which also has a thinner note that leading to a different presentation.  Expanding on that, the LS8 has a huge peak in the upper mids (lower treble to some) but isn't harsh seemingly because of the note thickness, which is well sustained.  And the SE 5-way soundstage isn't really small, but just not the biggest, but the SA-43 is amazingly spacious to me (although still not on par with the LCD-2).  There are many great performers depending on what you value most in your sound.
 

Both are mid forward, but the EM3 Pro puts you on stage and the Mi-3 puts you in the audience.  Both are extremely smooth and rich, although the EM3 Pro is richer.  The treble quality of the two is about the same but the Mi-3 treble has a better balance with the mids than the EM3 Pro.  The bass is vastly different between the two with the EM3 Pro being very warm and capable of outputting a lot of bass while the Mi-3 is a little on the lighter side on the bass as the bass driver is hard to push.  Technically the EM3 Pro does slightly edge the Mi-3 in most categories, however the Mi-3 has a little better clarity.  If you are OK with not having a bass monster and like a liquid, laid back sound the Mi-3 is a great option.

You are at the store looking for a new TV.  They have all the brands from a no-name on up being fed the same signal.  You buy the cheapest no-name because they all look about the same.  You take it home and it looks fine.  A week later you get a raise and decide you want another TV for the bedroom and get more expensive brand name.  You bring it home and are stunned by how much better it looks.  The contrast is better, the blacks are blacker, and you notice all sorts of issues with the first TV.  Your significant other doesn't notice any difference and is just happy there is a picture!
 
I am sure you now know my answer...yes, the TF10 is technically the lowest performing custom IEM I have.  It is actually below some universals since the customization only made minimal improvements to the sound.    But, I do want to add that some people will hear the difference, others may not!

The SE 5-way is definitely one of my favorites and something I can listen to any genre with.

I am still in the search for a custom, perhaps it will be another universal, might be the UM3X to test sound signature of Westone.
Is there a collection of frequency charts for customs anywhere?

The only place I can think of that has graphs of many many custom IEMs is erji.net, but much is lost in translation for me.
 
I do know that basing a decision off graphs may lead to disappointment as graphs don't tell the whole story and the method used to mic the custom makes a big difference.  For example, the Rooth LS8 graph shows the treble isn't smooth, however my in-ear response is smooth.  |joker| says the same with his Miracle.
 
Hopefully my reviews will help people decide which custom IEM is right for them as you can't return it once you get it and there are big losses when you sell them.

This morning I saw my cat bit my DDM cable to shreds. Perhaps I will get the DDM reshelled. That way I know what steps I need to do to get impressions, send them in and experience the fit.

Good luck I've already tried that. There's noone remolding dynamics anymore.

It's nice to see you getting Hidition NT6. Price isn't as shocking as I expected. Have you heard anything about G-customs?
Could you also post some more info about Rooth's LS5X (single dynamic, 4 BA,3-way)?

That stinks...either get it customized if you can find a place to do it (UM? or the Audio Hub?) or just get it recables.  There are many fine cable manufacturers that I am sure would be willing to help.

Not even the maker of dynamic driver customs IEMs?  You may be correct as I have not checked.  Plus, you never know the result.

Yes, Hidition is going through some changes and will be relaunching their sight in the near future, which will include taking international orders.  What do you want to know about G-customs?  The designer of the G-customs IEMs, Mr. Xiao designed the current Rooth products, so I would guess they sound very good but I am not sure the sound signature.  The LS5X is not ready yet but it is probably similar to the Merlin but with different tuning.

Well UM and Rooth declined resheling dynamics. But I didn't check dynamic makers either.
 
I couldn't find gcustoms website. Based on your info they are from China what about their products and pricing?
LS5x could be interesting alternative for someone looking to buy Merlins. Maybe thats why I'm interesting in LS5x
However NT6 is a neat and for that price I'd consider them as well.
