Thinking about buying
X-Sabre   +  new M-Stage HPA-3B
Or X-Sabre + Yulong  A28

Which setup fits better to LCD-2.2 ?

X-sabre + Gustard h10 with LCDs just Amazing

Not sure there are many people who heard both - the Matrix is too new, and the A28 isn't super popular, so I doubt it.

Could you advise an external AMP to X-Sabre in 600  $~ price range ?
I guess i'll buy LCD-3 , for now i have LCD 2.2 without fazor .

Gustard h10 seems to be a good thing

Thanks in advance

A pair of NuForce HAP200 amps in monoblock mode is hard to beat. $350 each or $700 for the pair. But it needs volume control from the DAC or an intermediate preamp, so X-Sabre is not a great match in that respect.

The Lake People G109 is also very good. Not fancy looking, but sounds excellent, especially with Audeze headphones.

I hear very good things about the newest M-Stage balanced amps. Might be worth trying out.

I use the Lake People G019S with the X-sabre on occasion and it is a very good sounding combo with lots of power.

Guys. Im planing to move forward from x-sabre despite its really good peace of equipment. What is in your exp will be remarkably good step towards PCM1794 and AD1862?
I dont want to loose dynamics and clarity of matrix but want more musicality at 16.44

Can't find any head to head comparison. Anyway, Musette should be step ahead above Octave, and proably not worse than Matrix.
Or something like that

Ok. Just let my Matrix go.. Will keep patience until musette is available.

Now im using Fiio X5 as a dac and I must say that it very well doing against matrix as a dac :)
