I found the 650s to be disappointing in the low end and the HD 600s to be much better in that regard. However, I think if you want the last word in IEM low end, you should look at the Future Sonics MG6Pro. As a bass player, I use these on stage and am very conscious of low end issues. Aside from Meyer subwoofers (http://www.meyersound.com/products/concertseries/700hp/. I know the MG6Pros and other headphones go lower, but playing a bass guitar through these is an amazing experience), there is no other way I want to hear my bass. Definition and note accuracy are not matched by other IEMs. The MG5Pros might be a bit more balanced overall. Both of them are a very pleasurable listening experience.

Very nice but they are $900 ....
