The first 5 minutes of Series 1/Ep. 1 had bass-heavy dance club scenes; a large explosion; sub-bass rumble sound elements in it's overall sound design with a bassy score and theme song. Lots of undelying good vibrations. It continued on through all 3 episodes of series 1 (There are only 3.)


The P5's handled it all with no problem. I've been loving them all along with my own music and stuff I'm streaming now, plus other movies and TV shows, so I expected as much.



They are as comfortable as the other 2 on-ear we've discussed. The rounded rectangular pads maybe even provide a more even pressure pattern on the similarly shaped ear as opposed to round pads. (Or, you could take up smoking so you have to remove them and go outside every 45-60 minutes--Hey! All of my headphones are perfectly comfortable using this method...

Great, thanks again for your help. I still plan to test the H8's, P5's and may see if I can get of another set of M2bt's from another batch!

Backbeat Sense
Had the same experience with the sense beat.
Would sometimes click when connected to computer.
With my (slow MOTO G2) the lag would make the music chopped down.
The bass are pretty poor.
The highs are god, upper mids and highs a little too "biting" which would cause fatigue. However the binaural system reproduces a great soundstage with very good feeling of space.
I found that this headset sounded much much better when the sound level would be at least 80%, then it kind of gives much richer bass but all in all that makes the highs even more tiring and too present so I could not listen to classical music for more than 1h or so. Rock was worse.
Sent it back and will give up on BT and try the aiaiai tma-2 instead...

But you probably meant H8, not H7, right?
I suppose it doesn't make much sense comparing wired with Bluetooth.

All,

I really appreciate your review of the bluetooth headphones. Very detailed and informative. I am hoping with your experience you can provide me with some advice. 
I am looking for a new pair of bluetooth on-ear headphones (on-ear because I realized over ear give me a headache, same with noise cancellation). I use them at work for music as I am in an open area and want to hush out others and I also want to be able to take calls on them. 

My priorities are the following in order:
1) Comfort (Got to be soft and comfortable for 2-6 hours at a time)
2) Cost ($150 or less)
3) Connectivity (easy to pair, turn on/off, bluetooth distance)
4) Durability (flexibility, scratch resistance, case included) & Looks
5) Sound (mainly audiobooks, classic rock, some metal and rap)

I have tried the Bose Soundlink On Ear, which were superbly comfortable I just can't spend $250 on them....I also have tried the high rated Creative Soundblaster and found them very uncomfortble. My latest pair has been the MEElectronics Runaway which are ok comfortwise, bassy sound and ok connectivity, I just think there is something better out there. 

I am looking at the following and wanted to get your opinion:
1) Jabra Move 
2) Skullcandy uproar
3) Sony MDRZ330BT
4) Nakamichi BTHP06
4) Others you recommend

H7 he etc. have better clarity and separation than the MW60 and MH40. It does have some peaks as well as slight sibilance. Some have even complained that it is bass light. I believe it needs an amp to perform at its best, but that of course doesn't lend itself well to Bluetooth haha. MH40 and MW60...oh so smooth. Deep reaching bass (a tad confused at times) but overall great fun, lush sound.


One of the things you need to consider is portable use. Do you intend on bringing it around on the metro?

If yes, many of the He's advantages are negated and you might be better served with the master and dynamics

Granted my home isnt too big but the mw60 does an admirable job...just don't expect it to work that we'll through walls...but that's expected.
