Nice! Im gonna make me a baby blue one...I'm already scheming ideas
I haven't found neutral cans all that great... I mean, they don't have enough treble... I've only had 650s and alpha dogs though... I did like lcd2.2s though...

I just don't want it to be deformed. If I ever remove the mod I'd want there to be no sign it was there to begin with.
Talking about not enough treble:blink:
I did too it has great treble IMHO.Dunno about you, but the Vegan LCD2 I have DEFINITELY have enough treble. In fact, more than my Annies.

I made a removable cushion that I posted a while back:

It was just a rough prototype (the stitching is a bit shoddy and I measured it by eye) but it works pretty well. I'm currently working on a new one, or Rev.2, and I'll be posting my tutorial once it's done (with proper measurements this time). I'd like to see what you had in mind.
It does. It has more than enough sparkle. That's why I call the the Hifiman LCD2, because I feel it'd probably be more like an HE500.
Well, aside from the obvious mid and treble differences, I felt the LCD2 and HE-400 to share similarities. I don't think it'd be too far off to consider the HE500 something like an LCD2 with more treble, and less bass, with similar-ish mids. Of course, that's an assumption.

The leather LCD2 I demoed for 3 days however, had a definite roll off in the treble in comparison to the Annie.
Pre: I'm comparing now, the vegan LCD2 I have has more treble than the Annie. It's not even a question here. They are slightly more fatiguing because of it. My LCD2's graph is QUITE different from the LCD2 graphs posted on both Headroom and Innerfidelity... much more treble.
