i keep seeing this one dude at my school with some sr-60's with some black dyed pads... he never leaks sound out, which makes me wonder how low he's listening to his music. i've also seen some other sr60's and sr80's around, but only once in a blue moon.

anyways, other than that, i've seen some of those cheaper sony mdr-somethings and some sennheisers but i don't know the model names. i've also been seeing a good amount of skullcandies lately... ugh. i also see a few people with bose qc3's. i used to see a good amount of triports, but haven't seen any lately

i've been wearing my es7's everyday, but i'm sooo tempted to use my sr-325i's lol

iBuds, Sony V300, Triport, PX100, PX200, CreativeBuds, Sony V700, Sony V500, E2, E3, ER6.

I believe there were some others in there but I can't always identify them as I walk past. I saw some Senns, Sonys, and Etys in the University's computer store. Does that count?

I'll be going to the U of A next year, so you may spot my Audio Technica ES7's around campas!

Two pairs of WESC's (Bag Pipe's and Bongo's) in a single outing. That was quite the surprise. And I've been spotting the Beats a bit more frequently as well, but I've only ever seen them in the downtown core.

Oh, and a pair of AKG K171 MKII's. I think. They looked way too small to be the 271s.

For a tech school, there's not a whole lot of serious equipment going on here.

One guy with either Sr60 or 80's. A few pairs of low-end sennheisers. But mostly a lot of sonys, JVCs and so on of the normal sort.

I've seen two DT770s so far on the train on my commute. One HD280.

And well I see lots of Bose on Ear running around all the time. And I see a lot of them with taped up headbands, so I also know either Bose buyers don't take care of their headphones or the build quality also suck.

Also seen quite a few JVC on ear headphones also, don't know which ones as I don't care honestly.

But nothing better than those. For IEMs, they are just those skullcandy ones. I haven't seen any good IEMs on the train or on the subway yet.

11:37am, February 3rd, 2009; Berkeley, CA:
I was sitting on a concrete bench near the VLSB on campus (UC Berkeley), listening to Undertow by Tool with my Nano and SF5 Pro's. A guy walked by wearing what I think were DT770 Pro's. Blue/red sweater and Blue/orange messenger bag. The headphones were huge.

The only respectable headphones I've seen at my high school was one pair of KSC-75's. I normally sport my HD280's to school, and I brought my 701's and PINT amp to school once and people were really impressed my the sound.

A girl tried to argue with me that the size my HD280's was unneccessary but then I told her that she'd never heard them. pwn. There's such a public distate for anything other than iBuds or Sony phones.

hah I rock up with my A900Ti's to high school, people joked that i was the nova mascot... so I got some beyers. Some people have made some remarks, needless to say the ones who have dared to hear, have been amazed at the sound...

and yes, Im known as the headphone guru to my friends, though I take special pride in this, I know there are head-Fi'ers out there that know alot lot lot more, so i bask in my 15 seconds of glory

the best ive seen at university, and on the streets... shure e2c, the next thing would be a sennheiser HD210
