Here at my 60 person boarding school the headphones i see here are mostly earphones. there are like 3 kids with Bose Ae2/Ae1, and one kid with a bose QC. One kid here has a pair of HD280 Pro's, and another one has a ATH M20. There was a kid that left here that had a pair of K701's. Can't wait till i get my ATH M50's!!!

Interesting, I believe I've only read the opposite around here.

ya but i found them very hard to  understand the vocals and when they were et at certain volumes like say past 50% they just sounded unbearable. at the time though i liked the sony mdrv150s i don't know what everyone hates about them. they tended to distort easily but they were clearer imo.
