@ThreeD23 Just got them today and just about to sstart 200-300hrz burn in.
What i can say is they are without doubt the BEST £99 i have ever spent and some of the companies charging £500+ could take a leaf out of 7hz book! The case they come in is absolutely beautiful and may even exceed the one i got with MEST MK2! The cable is also fantastic, not quite as good as the MEST cable but other than that it's probably the best stock cable iv ever received with an IEM! The shells are of a medium size and excellent quality. Eight different Tips are included which are also extremely high quality and you even get two different mesh filters!
This is my first 7HZ purchase and if the sound is as good as the build, packaging ect.. I will for sure be keeping an eye on them in the future👍
Once burn-in is complete I will come back with some impressions? But i really must say "Well done 7HZ ten out of ten👌"

Hi, does anyone here have suggestions for sub 200 sets? I wouldn't mind having to EQ, and would probably prefer that over a stock bassy response since I could get exactly the bass response I want by EQing. Currently the EX800ST looks to be the most attractive option, but I would like to know if there are anything else to consider too within the price bracket
What's the power supply? Bass= Power. 800st are the most boxed woofer like experience in $200 range but it requires tons of power to achieve that. If you plug them in something like ES100, then 2.5 mm cable with ultra low resistance is a Must have, and even then, it's barely enough but I'm totally nuts on bass. I listen to them with the vents completely shut off and filterless.

you sound like a man after my own heart👍
Do you by any chance have any experience with EST,BA, DD Tri-Brid's which does huge Bass but still keeps the technicalities of such Monitor's?

I believe having so many different kind of drivers it takes a lot of work from manufacture to coherently tune them, hence something like Fat Frequency Maestro are out of my budget. I'm very rough with my iems and it's not the mater of if but when I'll destroy them, so I always have to keep in mind the price should be in a good range of repeatedly buy. Shortly put, unfortunately I didn't have a chance to listen tri-brids.

I mainly drive of a dongle, but I also have a Fiio A5 is that's required.

Audiosense AQ4, TRI I3Pro and Ikko OH10 are old enough to be coming out with good discount in sales for closer to $100. CCA PLA13 and first (non-hifi) version of KZ PL1 were disliked because of excessive bass, but planar don't bleed as much as similarly tuned DD (and they are pretty cheap). 7Hz Legato looks very promising, but only a few initial reports are in so far.:L3000:

Edit: Sound Rhyme SR5 is also looking like a promising option!

You're good with Fiio A5, ideally it would be an amp. with bass boost switch but eq-ed and vent taped it will do. Forget about dongles, from them 800st sounds mediocre at best. If you want to go minimalistic, get yourself an es100 and 2.5mm cable or something else. You need to push into them at least 300 mwatts and at most 800 mwatts.

The A5 is an amp that hits up to 800mw at 32 ohms, so it should be sufficient right? I'm just gonna use the dongle for it's DAC, but the amplification would mainly be through the A5 if required. Balanced is currently not an option for me, but thanks for the suggestion regardless, I'll keep it in mind.

For someone who listens the FostexTH900 and TH909, which IEMs bring the same exciting deep tight punchy slammy bass without loosing the mids and treble?
Do IE600 fill in the shoes?
Ex800st with a tape mod
