Guys i tried Sony Xba z5 with custom copper upgrade cable and i compared with my it03(stock cable)
I clearly concluded that it03 has more subbass, more balanced sound signature, fronter mids and vocals, fronter trebles, more volume(aprox 10 click on x3).

Z5 sound best with the balanced cable.
Maybe but normally copper cable improves bass and it was very good quality copper cable but still it03 has more subbass than z5.I liked it03 more than z5 in many areas but i wasnt waiting this subbas performance from it03.i will try with stock cable t next meeting witj my friend that have z5.

Hey fellas, I have been away from the iem scene for some time. I really like the ex800 with tape mod sound but hate the fit and lack of sound isolation. Is there anything in the balance armature iem world that can give me that sound, sound sound isolation and comfort?

Thanks for the recommendation Hawaiibadboy, the U8 are out of my price range. I guess thats makes more of a statement about how great the ex800 are.

It does actually.
I just went balanced on mine with the rest of my gear and love em. The EX sony series is legit and stands the test of time. Just listened to the iT03 and ...nah....ill pass.

I am thinking about getting the Sony Ex1000 as I found a good deal on them, and like you I am a stage head as well, but can you inform me if u experience any harshness in them. And do they have a huge sound stage as for example sony xba z5

Harsh? No.

The RHA CL1 is harsh the Fidue A83 is almost harsh. The EX1000 is not harsh. Fantastic detail, huge stage, biggest of any IEM I have tried. Not basshead but the bass can be EQ'd to be strong and clean with good separation between kick drum and bass guitar and other instruments.

Peoples sensitive spot in the treble is different but the EX1000 are ****ing amazing.

I am getting it for stage and as for bass I will use EQ . I am really interested to get it this week and I really appreciate people who stick to their guns with time and rec a product and stand behind because simply they like it

Just listened to the iT03 and ...nah....ill pass.

I also tried it as well. Out of the box it sounded great, but a week later it went south; it sounded like I was having an hearing exam to find if my ears could detect frequency below 200 hz. Yet it sounded wrong - hollow and shrilly.

The bass-anemic and single BA driver XBA-1 still has more bass than the IT03.

I returned it right away thought the driver was busted Or, I guess my ears can't catch a "flat sub-bass"
