Got some Carbo Tenores in- like someone mentioned earlier in the thread, pretty impressive bass side of things, especially considering size. Maybe not ot basshead but if someone just wants decent bass, not a bad choice for $30- curious to hear the Basso now.
Ive had tenore, bass is definitelly bassy but i think vsonic vsd3s bass enhanced version which i also had has a better bass. bothe of them though are crap if you compare to sony xba-a2 those have much better type of bass. hence the price. cheers

Now my budget is around 300.00 and I am leaning towards the Sony a3's in fact its my first choice or I might save an extra 50.00 dollars and get the th600s for a great deal what do you guys suggest???
In time both and if longer some more. I love the Th900 only one issue well two: Not easy to take out of the house and 2. Bass leaks from the ear pads, the bass hits my shoulders.

You can get the Fostex TH600 for less than the Sony XBA-A3 somewhere? Get them asap. Worst case, you can sell them for more than you paid. I've never seen them for less than $450, and they're usually at or near $600. Now that they're discontinued, they're going to enter into Audiophile Legend and will eventually cost more.

Yeah, nobody really knows why since they're nearly as good as the TH-900 at half the price. Wait... maybe that's why... Actually, we don't know. It could be that they believe the TH900 + TH500RP taps the high end better as a pair than the TH600, or maybe they are replacing the 600 with something super amazing.
I don't know if I was getting a good deal on them ( th600s ) it was more of a trade off for my Pandora vi's and 50.00 or just get the xba a3's. I know it's like apples and oranges one is a portable iem and the other is a stay at home over the ear. I already have the asg2's the fx1100s and the ie800s and was just wondering am I really missing out on anything with the xba a3's since I have those other iems I just mentioned. I mean would the xba a3's be better than any of those iems that I have ( asg2, fx1100s, 850s and the ie800s ). P.S I can get the audiotechnica w1000x for 250.00 would that be an even better deal than the th600s???

I have the t10s, which I love, but they really aren't bass head IEMS, we'll at least not at this level. T20 have even less bass, so I don't think they will be thought of in this thread.
