I have sw3 and I agree the tuning is whack. What helped me was wide bore auvio tips, but what really tamed them was balanced cables. They improved the most of all my iems with balanced cables. The sound smoothed out tremendously especially the treble. They do have lots of subass, not basshead, but bassy.

My friend bought sw3.I will try when he recevied.
And i use xb90 and it03.
It 03 is very weird iem.
It is neutral but it has powerful subbass and deep bas(stage of basshead) with balanced sound signature.
I call it "Audiophile Basshead".
Maybe you wanna try it.
I use it03 and xb90 with fiio x3.
Both iem"s subbass level are very near.

I can agree that the IT03 has some bump in subbass at high volumes however I don't think it has much a place in the basshead thread. "Audiophile basshead" is a term I can agree with though. YMMV of course.

There is a pair on Ali-X that match the AD01 shell and spec. almost exactly, so guessing they are OEM.
Name is  Rayaudio RA01 @ $56  vs AD01 @ $96 so.

To be frank I am not sure the exact definition used here. However I get the idea most people here are looking for bass QUANTITY and not as concerned about quality. The IT03 has great bass to my ears but doesn't come close to the quantity of, say, the asg 2.5 or some Sony iems. Just my take. I consider myself an "audiophile basshead" (whatever that means) and prefer quality first with a little lifted quantity. If that makes any sense at all...

it03's subbass quantity and bass depth more than Jvc Fx Series,ay be more than 846 and similar to xb90 and z5.
So i can call it03 is subbasshead.
Others can be midbassier and they are midbasshead for me.
