Hey guys, needing some advice.

Money not being the issue, what is the best buy for me here. I love bass but also love transparency and clarity equally.

Out of these 3 IEMs, which should I buy?

1. XB90
2. ASG 2.5
3. EX-800ST/MDR7550

Thanks in advance!

I'm not warrior but imo comply t400/ts400 is best on 90ex

No sir, you are not Warrior! ;)

They hurt my ears too, if I use the Sony silicons I don't use the hybrid foams.

Same here. I was using the RHA silicon tips. I think I like the RHA tips a little better, but the Sony tips are a little more comfy.

My ears hurt, not where they are inserted, but I think the concha? The outside of the ear, where the housing sits.

Sorry for my ignorance...

IF money is truly not an issue, you buy ASG 2.5 and MDR 7550. Me and HBB both can't be wrong, right?

@vapman-RHA is another iem manufacturer. They make several IEMS, I have their T10, bassy, but not basshead level. I like them a lot though. I tried spiral dots, didn't fit well either.

yeah i don't use spiral dots on the 90EX, i actually am a pretty big fan of the stock sony silicon only ones. i do really love comply though. some people aren't fans of foam and i don't know what to tell them if they don't like comply on the sonys...

@gikigill how many hours did you log in on the xb90's? They sound great un-amped. Looks like my next pick up would be a fiio amp.

man i thought this when i got my 90ex... then i got an amp ;)

even if you can find someone with a 70s/80s receiver collecting dust... they just need the extra powre.

edit: didn't realize i double posted... very sorry

What do you guys think of the new dunu line? Potential? The 2002 has 4 drivers, 2ba and 2dd. The top of the line has 5 drivers, 1dd (13mm) and 4ba. We know those 13dd can pound... I messaged them regarding the 2002,asking about the driver size.

Also, I'm getting the Titan 3 and 5 on loaner from a friend tomorrow. Titan 5 has the 13mm DD. I'm doubtful it's basshead level, but hey you never know. Might sound very good, with a good amount of bass.

Titanium coated drivers are made with rapid/accelerated decay as their primary purpose.
For deep bass hits that are supposed to fall off slow it can speed that up in a way that is clearly audible.  Just a warning or consideration to keep in mind whenever you see titanium or the like touted as a drivers coating. The ex800 and ASG 2.5 both have P.E.T mylar afaik.

First buy the 90, then buy 2.5 then 800.
