Head-Fi Basshead IEM thread (lists page 1)

Very impressed so far. Definitely a lot of bass. I only listened to one song, about 3 times. Pretty damn incredible, and I heard the mids and treble extension is perfect for me. These IEMS are pretty damn good. Sony Xb90ex that is. Tips are a bitch, hard to get a good seal and comfort. Only gripe so far
complys stays in

Hate comply... Right now I'm using RHA stock tips. Tried spiral dots, very bad experience.

Any other tip suggestions for these?
Definitely a hidden gem here for sure. Loving these. Listening to some 60's music. I'm just really wowed at this point.

Received the Pioneer SE-CL751s today.  Haven't had much time with them.  But, I will say that I have never heard an IEM with this much bass. Definitely "bass head".

Very impressive iem. Definitely needs amplification, more so than any other iem I've ever owned. It's an incredible difference without amp. I'm just so shocked at how coherent these sound. It's really incredible.

You're talking about the Sony XB90EX?
The reason why I haven't bought one is because i think it would look ugly in the ears cause of its shape.

Unless somoene on here posted a pic with it in the ears so I can see how it looks like?

If in ear you cannot see them and NOBODY cares what you have on or if you are happy or sad.

Already have them in the cart, I know my xmas shopping is late, but I'm getting xb90 , xba a3, thinking of 7550, then I need to take a vacation and enjoy, but I love this hobby, now I know how woman feel about shoes, lol, but a3 all the way, specially my friends after the burn in sound very close to the z5, except a little stronger up top which is a little better for more genres, enjoy

If one wants a little more high (treble) from your KICKER iem simply try a Silver cable (plus sound).

Here you go. They may stick out but look nice.

I always thought the xb90ex design was pretty damn close to UIEM. It sits right in my ear.

slightly OT

my ex800st are my go to IEM right now but the ******* cable is ridiculous. What?
First time I ever considered a re-cable and as i type this i realize the cables are removable...
If anyone knows where a set of aftermarket for these might be let me know....I know I know...google is my friend...

I made the RCA cables in the pic and got the cable from the same company (VIABLUE)
They produce fine ass stuff
wow cool man. I went to 20 shops all had big name cables and one shop said try this cable which was in a cheap plastic packaging hanging from the wall. While the 600USD to 1000 USD were displayed in cool boxes behind a window. I tried those then tried this Viablue cable and pow, it sounded BETTER!
