Well... I spent too much on the westone's and the wife would pitch a fit of I went too crazy lol. Not sure, I'd like to keep it under $200

  Well that is really in the price range and they got a perfect 5 stars on Amazon and we got jmills...a basshead rec'ing them.

 I would rec that you do so.  You rec'd the Cayin C5 when hardly anyone used it and you were right. Selling off some stuff that doesn't get much head time for these gems would be a good move. I'm not even a fan of the company but the hardware is legit. True basshead bass AND clarity.

Yeah, ASG-2.5 for sure for music. The ASG-B are dark as F because they're really for bass players, but they hit as hard as the 2.5 if you don't care what music sounds like.

I dont know how related this is to this thread but I got Cozoy Aegis dac and it does sound much better than iphone 5c. its quite a descent device. so here is review and unboxing, it sounds good about three times better than just from iphone. i like it
a73 sounds much different and better with the dac than from iphone.

yup no amp is necessary. just port tuning. but will be a difference when you add the amp.
is it markimg that I see on the casing for tuning?

Yup that's the tuning dial but some of us gotta ..um...less clear mark

but once you learn wide open it's all goood.
