I think that PS500 special is sold out. Just to check, I emptied / refilled the cart with Hemp (which I already own) ..... The website prompted in normal fashion ..... so I emptied cart, logged out.
perfect test, thank you 🤓

I just scored an OG PS 500 on eBay last week and it arrives tomorrow anyway 😂

Just grabbed the new PS500x limited edition! Looks like there are around 10 left on the Grado website!
After sleeping this over I also just ordered one. Here's to my sincere hope I'll be able to tame that cable... otherwise I love the PS500 looks, and I don't yet have any X driver in my small collection. Now I should get the PS500e for sake of completeness... or maybe a PS2000e, which seems to be the only G-pad Grado with a decent bass for my purposes.
Guess I'll resort to sitting down with my GH4 on my head while kneading that PS500x cable for some days...

Edit: it now shows "Sold out". So I don't know if I actually got one.
When I opened the page for the first time yesterday, the title said something about "ships to Europe" and had a link to another page for US customers. Reloading it today it was marked as shipping worldwide and the US link was gone. Let's see how this works out.

I was wondering if grado will relase the Professinal series beucase if you look there was first gen and E series PS headphones but no X or I series. It would make sene for grado to relase th Profesional series for the next gen grados. I guess we have to wait another 2 years to find out.

I seem to remember that they once said there will be no regular Professional Series with X drivers... on the other hand, they are free to do what they want (which is a good thing), so maybe at some time...

Hmm, it's strange, I could still order them, and I'm in Montreal. Rich also said on Facebook they are available for international shipping. You should contact Grado if it's not working for you.
Several months ago, I tried to order a pair and the system didn't accept my shipping address ( I know Sarasota Florida is in the middle of nowhere). Last night I went to order a pair and again, they don't ship to Sarasota (tho they shipped my Hemp, RS1x, and Grado 3000x here). Hmmm

What's the main appeal to the professional series anyways? I've never owned one. How do they compare to reference and statement?

The PS2000e is, in my view, the best sounding Grado; I have not listened via the Grado HP-1.

Would love to hear the PS2000e some day. My PS500e is really the only Grado I could listen to for extended periods. (Don’t hate me for it, Gradophiles!)

Really? Now that's interesting. Even better than the GS3000x?

they are meant to be balanced that why there called professinal series but i dont someone would be mixing tracs on grados
Ah, so they are more similar to a studio monitor in terms of tuning?

I could compare the PS2000e to the GS3000E a while ago. I remember the PS to be more precise, more detailed and with better bass quality /( quantity ? ).
The GS was more charming, more rounding. I would have prefered the PS, but it was/is too overpriced in EU at this time.
