Yes, you can play audio from microSD card. It's a DAP after all, just with a rather limited GUI which can get frustrated since it's not a touch screen display, only navigation buttons a touch. And that is one of the reason it could be more efficient to control it wireless as BT DAC/amp paired up with another dap (like this small ap80) or your smartphone.

I’m going to try controlling the dap through my iPhone. I’ve downloaded the hifiman app but I don’t see any options involving browsing through the music library of the dap. A few more gripes I have include the skipping of the beginning of tracks

I’m loving this DX160, as any sane person should, but I think it’s time I spent some money on a source that can do justice to the ESTATS in my Elysium, I love the Hugo2, but I’d love a DAP that sounds the most like it and can stream...so no Sony :frowning2:. Any suggestions?

Isn’t it a bit odd that Noble releases a 1200$ cable after John stated on the forums he doesn’t really hear a difference between cables?
Well...maybe he could hear the difference between different kinda dollar bills coming in

Try confronting him about it. He’d throw the ‘30 x 5 Star Reviews’ on your face and post a GIF of someone dancing.
I’m long past confronting noble on anything :D

there must be a story i do not know :)
Well for one the sockets they use... I've had cables ripped, pins bent, others that wouldn't go in at all. Didn't really get a comment on that from anyone, except: Noble doesn't guarantee our IEMs will fit any aftermarket cables because we can't control the QC on their pins - except my cables fit all my IEMs, save for those by Noble lul
