Certainly, you are FABKing. Really wish you will compare more brands with FAB! The fad PF and Lab2 really amaze me. I love ❤️ the look ! They look better than diamonds. The only thing that scared me is wearing it. I don't have the confidence.

Which CIEMs is on your next target?

But I believe it will be very interesting to compare your Fad with these stuff: hifiman re2000, re800, dita dream, CFA vega and lyra ii! It seem these phones have only single unit for making sound.

Which model from Final did you want comparing, as I have the RE2000 and RE800, work has a demo pair of Dita Dreams and we have lots of Final being their distributor (no Lab 2 though).

It's really very kind of you.

I would be very interested in:

1 fibass vs heaven viii vs re800 vs dita true
1 fibass vs dream vs re2000
1 fibass vs fibasst35

Though you might not believe in burning-in, I hope you would burn in before comparing. It's my personal experience with the burning in effect. And you might note that the ppl in the dita and hifiman forum here notice the burning in effect.

Oh don't worry the Dream and RE2000 have well over 200hrs on each :)

I'll check what's downstairs.

Bea
beautiful.

It's like a piece of arts.

I almost bought a pair last month but I'm really worried about the fit to my ears.

How is it comparing to the "traditional" phone?

Seriously, I'm considering to buy a viii to try for a few years. If I can get used to it, than I will consider a x-g or Lab 2 in the long run.

Take your time. I read that there were consensus in hifiman and dta threads that a 500 hours of burn is the minimum to bring out the full potential. Frankly speaking, dita's cable is so thick that it's reasonable to need more time.

But, 200 hours should be sufficient for Fibass3 and Fibasst35.

After 3 h with X-g and wm1z I'm very happy ( i both x-g used ) it sounds like it looks I compered x-g with se5ult and I need 2-3 more days for " final" verdykt

My Fibass needs more than 150hours to sound stable.

Will you or someone share some of your experiences of using a earphone without those tips?

I really wanna own the x-g or lab 2.

Burn them for a long time. The longer you burn, the better they sound. They have unlimited potential. For a truly incredible sound begins after a very very long burning.. 500-600-700 hours. Don't stop. Leave them at night with the player turned on (at medium loudness).

Sometimes I did not listen to them for a month or more. And the sound immediately got worse. It became necessary to re-burn. And everything returned to an outstanding level.

I've had the PF VIII for 6 months and love the fit. It's much more comfortable over long periods of time than an IEM or can. After a while you just forget it's there. It's definitely only for home use though, no isolation whatsoever and even leaning over will cause them to drop out.

Do you happen to have the new PF for comparisons to the old one?

With the silver cable, they said the treble is much better than the old models. They even discontinued fibass with old cable. I guess they might discontinue the old PF model following the route of fibass. There's a guy offering deep discount for some of the old model.

Obviously, pure silver is a great conductor.

I do not think there will be a discount. Now in the official store Final Audio PF X is 253000 Japanese yen ($2317), and new X-T is 261000 yen ($2390). Approximately the same price difference for the other Piano Forte. Final Audio do not like to make discounts.
