Don’t think this has been posted here yet, so...

Final E500! Looks like a super-budget offering (even more so than the E1000, which, IMO, is the best budget IEM available today). Don’t know what the price will be, but considering what the full eartip set costs, I’m guessing the E500 itself will basically be free.

going by previous models of the range, I doubt they will be more than $5 less than E1000, still going to keep an eye out for it when it comes out

I've never had hybrid IEMs that I like either (it's usually super easy to distinguish between each driver's timbre and I don't like that) so I don't want to take the chance without listening first. Will just wait for E series update unless they go crazy with the price.

Feel kinda bad spending so much on many different IEMs when I always inevitably go back to the cheapest one I have lol

Multiple drivers IEMs do have their edge when it comes to clarity and separation but tuning them for the right timbre as you said is not an easy task. Have bought a few chi-fi IEMs with multi-drivers (CCA C10 and some others), really astonishing for what they accomplished for the price but the timbre is always lacking here and there. E5000 with just a DD is far more enjoyable overall in comparison.

Looking at the price alone, the new B-series (B1, B2, B3) should be the natural upgrade from the E5000.

I will be getting the new B Series in the next week or so for review. Essentially, the MAKE Series is the prototype of the B Series, and I look forward to listening and writing about my observations ...

Great! Really like the tuning of the e5000, looking forward to your review to see where Final is heading with this new series.

Well not really, the E series all use micro dynamic drivers, the B series uses BA drivers and a Hybrid design.

The B2 and B3 which are BA designs do follow a smoother sound signature, the B1 is more reference like with shimmering highs and well controlled bass. On a subjective level the B2 and B3 both have more bass presence than the B1 hybrid.

NEW B Series IN STOCK at Audio46!

final has never, to my knowledge, come out with a series where the model numbers/price weren’t in proper numerical order.

B1 - $699 (BA + DD)
B2 - $299 (single BA)
B3 - $499 (dual BA)

I wonder if this listing by Audio46 is correct ...

Pretty much. The only IEMs I’ve heard that have done this right are the Legend X, Zeus XIV, Andromeda and Roxanne II.

Even the FH7 is lacking in a tad in tonality and timbre despite the excellent clarity and separation.

They say they numbered in the order of the development. They are the 1st model, 2nd model, and the 3rd model.

Ah, ok then!
