I think it cost more money here in the USA
It sure does. But these pads aren't available in the U.S., at least from what I can tell. Final's English website doesn't even list them on the "ear pads" page.

Strange company. They're here, but they're not here.

Yeah, that’s what I was saying about shipping service or a friend to help you. Prices are great but you need a way to ship these things from Japan to the US since companies there don’t ship internationally.
I should have read your post more carefully!

Speak of wearing comfort, you really remind me of 1266, as a negative example :headphones::head_bandage::headphones:

I found the 1266 TC to be very comfortable. The pads do not touch your ears if you’re wearing it properly. It doesn’t look comfortable, but it is.

I had the TC for about two years and then I finally sold it after being tired of the lack of mids and the piercing highs. However, I went through quite a few headphones trying to find a replacement for that bass. The OG d8000 finally did it for me.

Today I've tried type H pad at D8K. Great comfort, gorgeous sound! sound character is brighter than stock or Zmf pads and I really like it! This would be my go to pad for D8K.

I don’t hear it that way, that is if you’re saying, the stock pads are the F pads. Definitely better balanced than the G pads, but the F pads come off as thin sounding to me.
I haven't tried G with D8K yet but I could live with F pads and be super happy !!
